
Ed Parr
Trombone
Ed Parr is a trombonist and educator based in South London. Since graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama he has sustained a varied freelance performance and recording career working with ensembles such as the Fleeting Paradise Orchestra, the London Jazz Orchestra, the Down for the Count Swing Orchestra, chamber groups such as the Matt Hurley Chamber Group (with an upcoming 2025 album release) and the Robbie Ellison nonet, and with theatre productions including a run with Punchdrunk’s The Burnt City. He has appeared at festivals in the UK and abroad including the London Jazz Festival, Glastonbury, Wilderness, Good Time Blues Fest, and Rudolstadt. He has also worked extensively as a recording artist for both TV and film, including appearances in Back to Black (2024) and The Runner (2026), and with artists such as Rex Orange County, and Peckham’s very own Brass Rascals.
