A Club 100 Years in the Making
At the height of the Jazz Age, socialite and speakeasy entrepreneur Belle Livingstone opened a Manhattan speakeasy - the 58th Street Country Club - where tycoons, movie stars, aristocrats and gangsters gathered for two extraordinary months before federal agents shut it down.
Almost a century later, The Lost Estate has recreated her world, reimagining every detail: floor-to-ceiling murals inspired by Aaron Douglas, bespoke designs recreated from photos of the orignal club, a six-course feast drawn from New York’s great dining rooms, and an evening filled with red-hot jazz from the best musicians in town.
Go behind the scenes with The Lost Estate and discover what it takes to make London disappear...
